A new market is a new set of assumptions.

Growth

A successful offer in one place is a useful starting point for expansion, but it does not explain a new market by itself. Customers may use different language, buy through different channels or evaluate trust in different ways.

Start by examining the customer’s context. Who influences the purchase? What does the buying process involve? Which expectations are unfamiliar to your team? Separate what you know from what you are inferring.

Test the smallest version that can teach you something useful. Work with a defined audience and a limited commitment. Review the delivery experience as well as the initial sales response.

Treat local requirements as part of the research rather than an assumption copied from home. Expansion is stronger when commercial interest, operating capability and relevant local advice develop together.
